Alice Sanders

Alice graduated from Otago University in 2012 and is a Senior Associate working predominantly in the commercial, property, employment and rural spheres. Alice started her legal career in Dunedin where she worked at a mid-size firm for the first six years of her career. Alice is from a well-known Central Otago farming family and the call of the mountains eventually brought her home to Central Otago. 

Alice loves the challenge of commercial work as it encompasses all her clients’ affairs and she knows that the correct legal structures can greatly enhance a client’s business and life.  Alice works hard to provide her clients with a memorable experience with easy-to-understand practical advice, tailored to their specific situation and with as little stress as possible. 

She prides herself on being friendly, understandable and always available for any queries – her life and work mantra being “there are no silly questions, only silly mistakes”. 

Outside of work her great loves are travel and the mountains. When she is not exploring the big wide world, you can find her huffing and puffing her way up a mountain in search of a deer, hanging off a cliff face climbing or chasing adventure on the West Coast, her second favourite place in the world behind Central Otago.
