Danielle Ward

Solicitor

Wānaka

Danielle is originally from Christchurch and graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2010 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology.

Danielle has a longstanding interest in Elder Law, which has naturally led to her focus on wills, enduring powers of attorney and estate administration at Fyfe Karamaena Law.

She began her legal career at a rural law firm in Marton after moving to Palmerston North to pursue a degree in Veterinary Science. While that career path did not eventuate, it was there that she met her husband. Following their marriage, they moved south to Wānaka in 2017 to settle down and Danielle continued her legal career.

After taking time away from the profession to raise her two young children, Danielle has returned to legal practice with a particular passion for assisting families through the estate administration process.

She enjoys bringing clarity and order to what can often be complex estates and she is committed to making a difficult and emotional time as smooth and straightforward as possible for bereaved families.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys skiing, exploring the outdoors with her husband and children, and creating all manner of crafty and culinary projects.
